Reasonable Design


I wanted to make a visual novel in a detective style because I felt like it changes the dynamic between the story and the viewer. This format makes you ask for the story. You have to go looking for the details that put the words into context. And most importantly, I wanted to give the viewer a reason to recall the things you were told earlier. You might be told a detail that doesn't mean anything at first, but will be pivotal to cracking the case later on. It gives a gamey feel to the story that rewards you for catching small details other people might miss.

Hopefully this game achieves my goal and creates an immersive experience for you.
